Unions and housing groups have called a 24-hour general strike in Murcia on 11 November. They want higher pay and action on rents and evictions. Average rent in Murcia now tops €800 a month. UGT says legal help will be available to workers who join the walkout.
Doctors' unions CESM and Semca have extended their Canary Islands strike to 17 November. They accuse the health department of ignoring the strike committee after a 22 October offer. The unions want more bargaining power, better work and rest terms, and higher pay. The SCS puts their economic claim at €150 million a year.
Andalusia has set aside €500,000 for firms and not-for-profit groups that hosted people on state-paid work courses. The work practice must have ended from 8 November 2025 to 19 November 2026. Each firm needs a deal with the course provider. Public bodies cannot apply, and claims close on 19 November.
