Petrol (95 E5) averages €1.724 per litre across Spain on Monday 2 November, and diesel €1.897, from the prices stations report to the Ministry for Ecological Transition: 10,868 for petrol and 11,205 for diesel.

In Málaga province, which includes the Costa del Sol, petrol averages €1.761 and diesel €1.941. In Alicante province, which includes the Costa Blanca, petrol averages €1.758 and diesel €1.906.

By province, petrol is cheapest in Las Palmas, at €1.526, and dearest in the Balearic Islands, at €1.820. Filling a 55-litre tank costs about €16.17 more in the Balearic Islands than in Las Palmas. Prices in the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla are lower partly because these territories have a different tax regime on fuel.

Stations can change their prices at any time.
