Canary Islands end rain pre-alert for all islands
The rain pre-alert ended across the Canary Islands at 20:00 on Wednesday. The regional government said the weather behind it had passed.

The Canary Islands Government ended its rain pre-alert for all the islands at 20:00 on Wednesday, 4 November 2026. It said the weather that led to the alert had passed.
Alert ends across the island group
The change covers the whole Canary Islands, not just a small area or a few islands. The regional emergency office made the call under PEFMA, its plan for bad weather risks.
The office used facts from Spain’s State Weather Agency, AEMET, and other sources. The pre-alert was one stage under the plan, and the new notice formally ended that stage.
The government note gives no rain totals and no forecast for each island. It also gives no details of local damage or other effects. The note does not say that all other weather risks or alerts have ended.
Scope of the notice
The government linked its decision to the end of the weather that had led to the pre-alert. It did not list those past conditions or issue a new weather forecast.
The notice changes only the status of this rain pre-alert. It applies to all the islands from the stated time. The government did not announce new steps or say whether any other alert was still in force.
The Canary Islands Directorate General for Emergencies issued the notice on behalf of the regional government. It said the change was based on AEMET data, other sources and the PEFMA plan.
