DGT evening update: 18 roads closed and 3 more with a carriageway shut

The 17:09 snapshot on Sunday 1 November excludes closures classed as roadworks. Two listed closures affect roads in Málaga; the feed has limited coverage of Catalonia and none of the Basque Country.

The DGT recorded 18 closed roads in its traffic feed at 17:09 on Sunday 1 November, excluding closures classified as roadworks. A further 3 roads each had a carriageway shut.

The figures are a snapshot, rather than a complete picture of traffic across Spain. Coverage of Catalonia is limited, and the feed contains no Basque Country data. Both have separate traffic authorities.

The combined count for Málaga and Alicante was 2 closures. Both roads listed are in Málaga: the MA-7402, near Ronda, and the A-7150, near Casares.

Road-surface damage has kept the MA-7402 shut since 4 February. The A-7150 closure dates from 3 February and is attributed to a rockfall or landslide.

The most recent closure recorded was on the A-135 near Torla-Ordesa, in Huesca. It began on 30 October, with the closure expected to last until 2 November.

The same update recorded 15 accidents, 148 stationary vehicles and 218 roadworks entries. It also showed 28 entries for objects obstructing roads, 24 for rockfalls or landslides and 20 for damaged road surfaces.

Accidents, stationary vehicles and queues can change from minute to minute. For current conditions, consult infocar.dgt.es, the DGT traffic website, or call 011.
