Spain's annual inflation rate is estimated at 4.9% for October, unchanged from September, according to the National Statistics Institute's (INE) flash estimate. Prices rose 0.6% between September and October.

The provisional annual rate has climbed from 3.1% in October 2025, reaching 3.2% in June 2026, 3.6% in July and 4.3% in August before settling at 4.9% in September. The October estimate therefore suggests the year-on-year pace held steady after the sharp rise recorded over the summer.

INE has not yet published the final October figure or the breakdown by category. Those details will show which goods and services drove the monthly change and whether the estimate is revised.
