Telegram channel reports at least 350 drones in Russian Ukraine strikes
The channel says power and rail sites were the main targets. Ukraine’s official accounts describe strikes on the grid but do not confirm the drone count.
The Telegram channel @AMK_Mapping said Russia had used at least 350 drones to strike Ukraine over the past 24 hours. It said missiles were used too. Power and rail sites were the main targets, it said.
The count comes from the channel. The official accounts cited below do not confirm a total for the whole country over that time.
The channel said strikes had hit power substations and thermal power plants. It said the strikes were more spread out than in the prior 24 hours.
In a separate account, Mykolaiv’s regional military administration said a Russian drone had hit an energy site. It posted its statement on Facebook, Ukrinform reported.
The same body said other drones had hit the Kutsurub community. An outbuilding in Dmytrivka was damaged, it said.
Earlier, Chernihiv regional military administration chief Viacheslav Chaus said Russian forces had hit an energy site overnight. Fire crews put out the blaze, he said. He said the power supply was in a difficult state, Ukrinform reported.
Ukraine’s Energy Ministry has also said Russian strikes on the grid forced nuclear plants to produce less power. Ukrinform carried that account of the wider harm to the grid.
These statements describe separate strikes and their effects. They do not confirm the Telegram channel’s count.
