DGT evening feed lists 19 road closures

The DGT's evening traffic feed listed 19 road closures at 17:30 on Thursday 5 November. The count excluded roadworks.

The live feed also showed one carriageway shut on five other roads. Across Málaga and Alicante provinces, it listed two closures of this kind.

The MA-7402 near Ronda has been closed since 4 February due to damage on the road. The A-7150 near Casares has been shut since 3 February after a rockfall or landslide.

The newest full closure was on the LP-214 near El Paso, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It has been closed since 2 November because of a rockfall or landslide.

The feed also listed 31 accidents and 325 stopped vehicles at 17:30. It showed 431 roadworks, 31 objects on roads, 30 cases of slow traffic and 25 rockfalls or landslides.

Those figures are only a snapshot. Accidents, stopped vehicles and queues can change by the minute.

The DGT feed shows little data for Catalonia and none for the Basque Country. Both areas have their own traffic bodies.

Drivers can check current conditions at infocar.dgt.es or by calling 011.
