Three arrested over alleged Halloween disorder plans in Málaga
Police detained three people in Málaga and Fuengirola after investigating messaging channels allegedly used to coordinate looting and vandalism around Halloween.

National Police arrested three people in Málaga and Fuengirola between Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October over alleged plans for looting and public disorder linked to messaging channels using the “Blocus” name.
Two people, one of them a minor, were detained in Fuengirola on Saturday night. Police said they were found as they allegedly prepared to commit acts of vandalism. Investigators described the adult as the administrator of a “Blocus Fuengirola” group and allege that he coordinated activity and encouraged sabotage and damage.
A 20-year-old man was arrested at midday on Friday in Málaga. Investigators allege that he took part in channels calling for shops in Málaga, Fuengirola and Marbella to be looted. Police also accuse him of sharing routes and tactics, proposing fires away from shops as a distraction and encouraging the use of weapons.
All three are under investigation for alleged conspiracy to cause public disorder, conspiracy to commit property offences and membership of an organised group. The arrests formed part of preventive police operations following calls circulated before Halloween.
