Tordehumos stabbing suspect jailed without bail after arrest
A court ordered custody on Sunday after one worker died and two others were seriously injured in a stabbing at a hostel in Valladolid province.

A man accused of stabbing three fellow workers at a hostel in Tordehumos, Valladolid province, has been remanded in custody without bail, the Guardia Civil said on Sunday. One worker died and two others were seriously injured in the incident on Saturday, 31 October.
Arrest after search
The suspect was arrested on Saturday afternoon near the sports centre in Villabrágima after several hours of searching. He was brought before the courts on Sunday, when a judge ordered custody without bail. The order is described as communicated custody, meaning contact with others is permitted.
The stabbing took place inside accommodation rented for a group of company workers. Reports describe an argument among colleagues before the incident, but the motive remains unknown, government sub-delegate Jacinto Canales said.
Canales said residents and the mayor had told him there had been no previous incidents or community tensions involving the workers.
